Virus Weapon 2 (Plasma Rifle)

The Plasma Rifle is the Virus army's flagship weapon designed specifically to inflict as much damage to Allied Forces and Immune System Defenses as possible. It releases a large violent burst of compressed energy towards the opponent, and force is strong enough to stun or knock back small enemies with splash damage - This weapon is most prominently wielded by Virus Commando units, and should be engaged against with extreme caution.

The design for this weapon is a mix of many of my favorite laser rifle designs. Primarily a mix between a Covenant Beam Sniper Rifle, and the Karasawa MK2 from armored core. It functions much like the Karasawa, but I tried very hard to mix a bit of that angular beauty aesthetic from the Beam Rifle. Surprisingly, the weapon turned out to be much lower poly than I had anticipated. Most of the gun's "presence" is completely made of basic shapes -
