Virus Weapon 3 (Energy Machine-Gun)

The Energy Machine gun is the Virus Army's go-to assault weapon. Relatively low amounts of ammo are offset by an unusually high attack power. EMG's are usually equipped by Virus Raiders who's primary job is to soften up new targets quickly before major boarding parties arrive. To put simply, this weapon is the epitome of "high risk" - "high reward"

As for the artistic direction and inspiration for the weapon, the gun aesthetic was a bit of a mix between something from Star Trek and a modern machine gun. It maintains the more angular aesthetic of Virus architecture, but since it is reverse engineered for for the Allied Forces, the handle and trigger systems have been changed to something a humanoid unit would be able to grab naturally.
