Game-Ready Bullets (Custom Pack)

This whole "Bullet Pack" journey really started out as me trying to find some nice quality "shell-eject" FX for my game as I fired rounds out of the rifle. I looked around for a pack like this for a while but always ended up running into various issues like them not having the type of round I needed, or not having "just the head", or the burnt markings for the spent shell casings, or the bullet's were not created according to scale, so I was arbitrarily shrinking them to fit into the gun - Regardless, after failing to find exactly what I wanted, I just took it upon myself to create the bullet set I really wanted. And, I included the type of rounds that I intend to use in my own projects. So, I have included: The goal of this pack was to cover the most common type of bullets that are commonly used in video games including: 22Long, 9Mil, 223, 300 Blackout, 762, 50BMG, 12 Gauge, 12 Gauge Slug. I know there are hundreds of different type of rounds out there, but these 9 are the ones I felt like were most relevant in my experience.

Needless to say, this turned out to be A LOT more work than I thought it was going to be. Bullets are not just 1 thing, they are actually 3 distinct parts, the entire part called the "cartridge", the spent shell called the "casing", and the projectile part called the "head". At first I tried to create 1 cartridge and 1 texture map. But, I ran into lots of problems because the spent casing looks very different from a fresh casing. So, they ended up needing different texture maps entirely. Then in the event the game supported slow motion, we needed just the "head" part of the bullet, and that ended up needing it's own "spent" burnt texture as well. So, the end result was nearly 81 different textures in total and 27 Distinct meshes.

Honestly, I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out, and for anyone interested in picking it up for yourself, you can find it on the shop here:
